Greetings from the Illinois Wesleyan Staff

I am very pleased and quite proud to be here today on behalf of the men and women who serve on the Illinois Wesleyan staff. President Wilson, Mrs. Wilson and all the other members of your family here today, we welcome you to our University community. The staff is composed of multi-talented individuals, each of us proud of Illinois Wesleyan and each of us committed to playing our own specific roles in the support of the University, and especially, our students.
President Wilson, you have the opportunity, the challenge, to advance equity among all Illinois Wesleyan employees and to lead us with vision and courage to even greater accomplishments.
I hope that you will continue to find time aside from your presidential tasks to become acquainted with our students and that you are able to feel pleasure and professional pride in their accomplishments as they graduate, stepping forward to become contributing citizens of a global society.
My personal wish for you is that you are able to complete each work day with a feeling of satisfaction and that you begin each new day with enthusiasm.
