Tomorrow promises to be a great day for both you and Illinois Wesleyan. I feel honored to be able to participate in the ceremony. IWU could not have made a better choice, and I am so happy for you and Pat.
Dan Perrino wanted me to convey his regrets about not being able to attend. He must help some Urbana High School music students tomorrow because there was no other time that would work for them. But, having had such great benefit from Dan's attention as a high school student myself, I can only say that Dan has always put students first over the 50 years that I have known him, and we students are all better off as a result.

Congratulations, President Wilson, on your inauguration as Illinois Wesleyan's new president!
What an enriching experience the inauguration ceremonies and activities provide for the Bloomington-Normal community, the student body, and the faculty and staff of IWU. I find it a pleasure to know that the office of the President is just down the hall from the Development Office where I've worked for approximately four years, and that at any moment, you may come bounding down Holmes Hall to greet and say "Hi" to any/all of the staff you meet. How uplifting that gesture is for all of us who work with you!
Thank you for bringing your genuine style of "Presidency" to our work world. Your previous twelve months of work here have been a testimony that the entire campus, staff, and all persons concerned with the campus benefit from your presence here.
