The Alumni Association of Illinois Wesleyan University is honored to welcome Richard F. Wilson as the 18th President of our great institution. Our proud tradition of excellence will continue as Dr. Wilson leads our journey into the 21st century.
Our Alumni Association is well-positioned to partner on this journey with all constituents of the University who are represented here today. Our progress during the last several years gives us momentum for the priorities and the work ahead. Some of the key steps along our journey include the partnership with the Career Center to form a career network to link students with the alumni group around the world, the implementation of regional boards in selected U.S. cities to extend the reach of Illinois Wesleyan's presence, the increase in alumni commitment to IWU through the Annual Fund, and the outstanding work of our Minority Alumni Network to recruit and support minority students and alumni.
I have always been a very proud supporter of the work we accomplish at Illinois Wesleyan University. Today, I cannot express the pride I feel in representing the entire Alumni Association when I say - Dick Wilson, thank you for bringing your talents and vision to lead the IWU journey!
