The Ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. in the Shirk Center Performance Arena, 303 E. Emerson Street, Bloomington, Illinois. The full Schedule of Inauguration Events on April 7, 8, and 9 is available here. We invite you to participate in any of the events shown. The web site also displays the information provided below. A Campus Map is also available for your consultation.
DELEGATE INFORMATION AND RESPONSE REQUESTED
*Regalia: Please remember to bring your academic regalia for the Ceremony. Contact your sponsoring institution if you have not received your order.
*Parking: A parking lot is located at the Shirk Center, 303 E. Emerson Street, Bloomington, Illinois. Other parking lots are located on our Campus Map.
*Registration: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hansen Student Center, across the street from the Shirk Center. Late registration is from 1-1:30 pm at the Shirk Center Practice Gym. We encourage you to arrive early to enjoy the symposia and poster displays by staff and students that are located at the Hansen Student Center.
*Luncheon: Delegates and a guest are invited to an informal box lunch prior to the Ceremony.
12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Shirk Center Practice Gym, 303 E. Emerson Street.
PLEASE INDICATE IF YOU WILL PARTAKE OF THE BOX LUNCH.
*Robing and Line Up: Delegates can robe in the Shirk Center Practice Gym, 303 E. Emerson anytime from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Coat racks and storage tables will be provided. Your personal items will be secured in the room during the Ceremony. Line up for the Processional begins PROMPTLY at 1:30.
*Guest Seating: A section of seating in the Shirk Center Performance Arena will be reserved for your guest seating.
