12/4/02: The ISU College Republicans have invited us to join them for bowling on December 4 at 7:00 pm. We're meeting at the Bowling and Billiards Center behind the Bone Student Center on the ISU campus. Afterwards we'll probably get together with their group for pizza. If anyone has questions or needs transportation, please contact Matt Thompson or anyone on the executive board.
12/7/02: State Representative Dan Brady has invited us to participate in the Christmas parade. We will probably meet at 9:00 am and be finished by noon. More details will be forthcoming. Please contact Rachel Wenger with any questions.
12/15/02: This is the tentative date for a statewide meeting of club chairmen and executive board members. At least one member from our chapter will be attending. If there are any issues or concerns you'd like voiced at the state level of College Republican leadership, please contact any member of the executive board.

11/14/02: Thank you to all the College Republican members who assisted with Representative Dan Brady's chicken dinner fundraiser. The public officials we work with appreciate very much that our organization can always be relied upon to volunteer at programs and events.
11/11/02: In honor of Veterans' Day, the IWU College Republicans asked fellow students to submit the names of friends and relatives who have served or are presently serving in the armed forces. These were then compiled into a list which can be viewed HERE
11/03/02: At the beginning of November, members of our group attended a political rally in Springfield. In addition to speeches from all of our state candidates, President Bush spoke about issues of the day and endorsed the party's ticket. Despite the unfortunate outcome of the elections, it was still a great event. Look HERE to see photographs.
