Event: Benefit Concert: Sponsored by the University Students Against Intoxicated Drivers (U.S.A.I.D)

Date: April 19 (Friday)

Time: 7:00 p.m.

Location: Center Court of IWU’s Hansen Student Center, 300 E. Beecher St., Bloomington

Admission: Free and open to the public, but accepting donations, and $3.00 for raffle tickets

Background: Sponsored by U.S.A.I.D., the Benefit Concert will be headlined by The Hubbards and will also feature live performances by other bands such as No Big Loss, The Funky Pirates, Triple Helix and The Dog and Everything. During the evening there also will be a raffle where prizes such as free dining, tans, massages and more can be won as prizes.

U.S.A.I.D. is a newly formed student organization founded by Alicia Rodriguez, a freshman political science major from Homewood, Ill. The organization strives to offer education in decision making about the usage of alcohol and driving and encourages students to obtain alternative means of transportation in alcohol-related situations.
