Junior recitals by Fernando Carrillo, Benjamin Weber, and Johanna Wiesbrock

Admission: Free, open to the public
Background: Fernando Carrillo, a music education major from Northlake, Ill., will play the works of Georg Phillipp Telemann, R. Vaughan Williams, Paul Hindemith and Johann Sebastian Bach on oboe for his junior recital. He will be accompanied by Lecturer in Music Carol Churukian on piano and harpsichord. Carrillo will play the following pieces:
- Partita No. 2
- Oboe Concerto
- Sonate
- Arioso
For their junior recital, Benjamin Weber, a music education major from Oak Park, Ill., and Johanna Wiesbrock, an orchestral instrument major from Wheaton, Ill., will perform together the works of Bach, Johannes Brahms, Hindemith, and Bela Bartok. On viola, Weber and Wiesbrock will play the following pieces:
- Gavotte I and II
- Sonata in F minor, Opus 120, No. 1
- Der Schwandendreher
- Sonata in E-flat Major, Opus 120, No. 2
- Movement One Allegro
