Event: Funny Bone Comedy Club presents: Comedian Tess Drake, sponsored by the Office of Student Activities

Admission: Free and open to the public

Background:

Tess Drake, a native of Sandusky, Ohio, discovered her gift for comedy in high school when she was voted both class president and class clown. After graduation, Drake got married and divorced within ninety days. During that rocky period, she unearthed the foundation of a comedy career.

Drake has shared her insight at the 2001 Comedy Arts Festival, on NBC’s "Late Friday," "The Jamie Foxx Show," BET’s "Comic View," the Def Jam Comedy Tour, and on Brian McKnight’s "Back at One" tour.
