Event: Christine Lavin's scheduled appearance at Illinois Wesleyans Blue Moon Coffeehouse has been cancelled due to the singer's illness. It had been scheduled for Sept. 13, 2003 at 7:30 p.m.
Background: Guitarist and vocalist Christine Lavin has recorded and released 14 solo albums of original material, and four albums with Four Bitchin Babes, a group she founded in the 1990s. Performing over 120 concerts per year across the U.S., Canada, and Australia, Lavin is not only musically talented, but also entertains her audiences by telling stories, twirling glowing batons, and using a digital phrase sampler to improvise lyrics.
