Program: The program will consist of: Second Suite for Military Band in F Major by Gustav Holst, Fortress by Frank Ticheli, Songs of the West by Holst, Fanfare for a New Era by Jack Stamp, Triumph and Tradition by Robert Jager, Fugue a la Gigue by Johann Sebastian Bach, Tamboo by Francisco Cavez, and Block M Concert March by Jerry H. Bilik.
Background: The Symphonic Winds is under the direction of Roger Garrett, IWU professor of music. Members of the ensemble include both music and non-music majors.
