Event: Concert: Illinois Wesleyan University Symphonic Winds

Program: The program will consist of: “Second Suite for Military Band in F Major” by Gustav Holst, “Fortress” by Frank Ticheli, “Songs of the West” by Holst, “Fanfare for a New Era” by Jack Stamp, “Triumph and Tradition” by Robert Jager, “Fugue a la Gigue” by Johann Sebastian Bach, “Tamboo” by Francisco Cavez, and “Block M Concert March” by Jerry H. Bilik.

Background: The Symphonic Winds is under the direction of Roger Garrett, IWU professor of music. Members of the ensemble include both music and non-music majors.
