Event: Illinois Wesleyan University School of Music presents: Student recitals by Patrick R. OConnor and Katrina Tammen

Background: For their recital, Patrick R. OConnor, a music education major from Lexington, S.C., and Katrina Tammen, an orchestral instrument major from Thawville, Ill., will perform on trombone and flute, respectively, the works of Samuel Barber, Leonard Bernstein, Mario J. Pelusi, Alexander Guilmant, Francios Doppler, and Stjepan Sulek.
OConnor and Tammen will be accompanied by Lecturers in Music Ririko Hayashi and Carol Churukian on piano, and will perform the following pieces:
- Canzone
- Elegy for Mippy II
- A Musical Soliloquy in Three Parts for Unaccompanied Flute
- Morceau Symphonique
- Fantaisie Pastorale Hongroise, Opus 26
- Sonata for Trombone Vox Gabrieli
