Program: The program will include: Tunbridge Fair by Walter Piston, Variations on Mein junges Leben hat ein End by Jan P. Sweenlinck, March No. 1 by Ludwig von Beethoven, Geschwindmarsch by Paul Hindemith, Commando March by Samuel Barber, Colonial Song by Percy Aldridge Grainger, Five Miniatures by Joaquin Turina, and Festivo by Edward Gregson.
Background: A courtyard reception featuring small instrumental ensembles will follow the concert.
The Wind Ensemble is under the direction of Steven W. Eggleston, professor of music and brass instruments. The ensemble includes both music and non-music majors.
