Exceptionally, this Christ in Majesty is located above the right portal rather than in its usual place at the center of the west facade. This placement of Christ, combined with the absence of a tympanum above the central portal, render particularly intriguing the absence of a Last Judgment scene at St-Pierre, an omission all the more curious for its doubtless being deliberate.
