Overview
Content always rules in constructing web pages for courses. After all, a web page is really a paper presented in a new medium. At the same time, organization in a web page becomes even more prominent than it is in a traditional paper, and the flow of the paper--especially transitions between sections--is deemphasized. The temptation to include excessive graphics must be curbed, along with the temptation to distract the reader with a lot of secondary links. The hypertext paper, that is, the paper which is presented over the web, also allows for a really convenient access to endnotes and bibliographies.
