Mindful Eating
Tuesday, January 31 Noon-1:00 p.m.
Hansen Center, Tommys Private Dining Room
Americans open the refrigerator up to 33 times a day just to see if anything has shifted. When you eat at the fridge, just pull up a chair. At least youre sitting down, one less distraction!
Have you ever wondered why you eat when youre not hungry, or continue eating when you feel full? Have you made a valiant effort to improve the quality of the food you eat only to find you long for foods with little nutritional value? After the last diet ended did you experience binging on foods that were forbidden on the diet? Does eating ever feel chaotic?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, please consider attending this workshop. We will explore the answers to these questions and look at the solutions for minimizing these experiences.
Mindful eating is an opportunity to understand the dynamics between getting your nutritional needs met while forging a more peaceful relationship with food.
