This super smoothie packs in soy protein, fiber, and lots more heart-healthy phytochemicals for a great start to the day or afternoon pick-up.Ingredients needed:
2 1/2 oz. soft or silken tofu (1/6 of a 1 lb. tofu block)
3/4 cup soy milk
1 large carrot or 6-8 baby carrots
3/4 cup orange juice
3/4 cup fresh or frozen fruit
1-2 Tbsp. each of wheat bran (or psyllium seed husk), oat bran, wheat germ, & ground or whole flaxseedBlend 1-2 minutes. Then drink and enjoy.
