Please note that while this hotel is in Bloomington, it is not
within walking distance of Illinois Wesleyan's campus. However, it is
only about 3 miles away. Click here
to get directions from The Chateau to the MUSE conference site, the
Center for Natural Sciences (CNS) on Illinois Wesleyan's campus. There
is a parking lot directly across the street from the building that you
will have access to.
Local Restaurants
Avanti's
A student favorite, Avanti's offers good Italian food
fast, but it's not fast food. Near campus, Avanti's has a wide variety
of pizza, pasta, and hot and cold sandwiches at a price that fits even
the poor college student's budget.
Directions: (Drive) Turn right onto Main Street. Avanti's
is on the left of the street.
Noodles & Company
Although the menu doesn't just have noodles, they are the
best part. From Wisconsin Mac & Cheese to curry, there is something
for almost every palate. They also sell soups and salads, and
everything is around $5. There are also many options for vegetarians.
Dine in or take away options available.

& Company is on the left. Parking is behind the restaurant only.
Potbelly's
Great sandwiches at a great price are exactly what you'll
get at this restaurant. Also serving great milkshakes, Potbelly's is a
great choice for a quick meal.

Subway
When it comes to fresh food fast, Subway is a great
choice. Fast food at cheap prices, Subway is nearby campus and you can
either eat in or take away.
Directions: (Walk) Exit CNS to the north and take a left.
Turn right and walk down Main Street heading south. Subway is a few
blocks away.
Tobin's
Tobin's offers a wide variety of Italian food, but its
pizza is by far the highlight of its menu. With a diverse menu,
reasonable prices, and a close location, Tobin's is a great choice for
a group lunch.
Directions: (Walk) Exit CNS to the north and turn left.
Take a right when you get to Main and head north for about three
blocks. It is on the right.
Tommy's
Illinois Wesleyan's on-campus restaurant offers good food
at a good price. Located on campus in the Hansen Student Center, the
diverse menu offers appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and desert
to either eat in or to take away.
Directions: (Walk) Exit CNS, cross the street and turn
right. Enter Hansen Student Center and proceeded to the basement.
