1.  On pp. 81-84 of Cyberreader, Sherry Turkle argues for "multiplicity" and against "the unitary self." in a section called Identity and Multiplicity. I'm going to assign one paragraph to each of you; write a one-sentence gloss of your assigned paragraph.






2. Take two different social situations (communicating with your parents v. with your teacher; communicating with your best friend v. with your brother/sister, etc.).
