College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin "Player of the Week"9/9/03
ROCK ISLAND, Illinois - Senior Brette Bower of Illinois Wesleyan has been named the "Player of the Week" in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin for the week ending on September 6.
Bower was named to the all-tournament in the Washington Invitational on September 5-6 as the Titans split four matches. On September 6, in a four game win over Millikin, Bower had 45 assists and 16 digs and she also had 32 assists and nine digs in a four game loss to Washington. Against Fontbonne she piled up 38 assists, 12 kills and 11 digs and had 22 assists and 11 digs against Southwestern. Earlier in the week in a non-conference match with Eureka she had 14 assists, eight kills and 10 digs.
