BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi announced that Kyle Eash, son of Norm and Cheryl Eash of Bloomington, has been awarded a Phi Kappa Phi Fellowship for the 2002-2003 academic school year.

Founded in 1897, Phi Kappa Phi is the oldest and largest national honor society dedicated to the recognition and promotion of academic excellence in all fields of higher education. From its beginning in 1932, the Society’s Graduate Fellowship Program has become one of Phi Kappa Phi’s most visible and financially well-supported endeavors. Headquartered on the Louisiana State University campus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Phi Kappa Phi inducts annually approximately 32,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni from 282 select colleges and universities. The society awards more than $500,000 in national and chapter scholarships each year.
