Illinois Wesleyan Student Selected for Tuck Business Bridge Program

May 20, 2003

Rafael Nunez, a junior business major at Illinois Wesleyan University from Franklin Park, Ill., has been selected to participate in the Tuck Business Bridge Program at Dartmouth College this summer.

For the seventh summer in a row, the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth will open its campus to a select group of juniors and seniors from other top liberal arts colleges such as Amherst, Brown, Duke, Harvard, Mount Holyoke, Princeton, Swarthmore, Stanford, and Yale. The program gives liberal arts, sciences, and engineering students an intensive 4-week study of global business, and is designed to help the students develop practical and analytical skills that will serve them in first-class business careers.

Applicants were selected on a basis of overall academic excellence, SAT scores, and evident potential for managerial careers. Living on Dartmouth’s campus, the students will be immersed in an intense curriculum of case discussions, lectures, and student presentations.

Nunez, a graduate of West Leyden High School, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rafael Nunez.
