Background: Performing her senior recital, Penny Hansen a voice major from St. Charles, Ill., will sing the works of Johann Sebastian Bach, George Frideric Handel, Joseph Haydn, Franz Schubert, Harry B. Smith & Victor Herbert, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ernest Chausson, Claude Debussy, and Leonard Bernstein.
A soprano, Hansen will be accompanied by Lecturer in Music Maxie Scifres on piano, senior orchestral instrument major Sarah Evans on clarinet, and senior voice major and soprano Natalie Studwell. Hansen will sing the following pieces:
