Event: Illinois Wesleyan University’s School of Music presents: A Student Composition Recital

Date: Feb. 18, 2003 (Tuesday)

Time: 8 p.m.

Location: Westbrook Auditorium, Presser Hall, 1210 Park St., Bloomington

Admission: Free and open to the public

Background:
Original works by the following students will be performed:

Lee Price, a senior composition major from Minooka, Ill., will present two pieces. “Quintet for Winds” is written for flute, oboe, clarinet, horn, and bassoon, and “Six Haiku” will feature voice and piano.

Mark Tomasino, a first-year composition major from Morrison, Ill., will present “Racing the Sunset,” a work for voice and piano.

Colin A. D. Borck, a junior music composition and education major from Schaumburg, Ill., will present “Hieracoshpinx,” a flute solo.

Heather Straley, a first-year music major from Villa Park, Ill., will also have works performed.
