Background: The 16th Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition in the Merwin and Wakeley Galleries at Illinois Wesleyan University will be judged by the School of Art faculty and will showcase the work of IWU students who are art majors and minors. Mediums presented at the exhibit will feature painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, ceramics, sculpture and graphic design.
Awards for the exhibit are sponsored by Paintin’ Place Art Supply Store, IWU President Minor Meyers jr., and Miles Blair, director of the Joyce G. Eichhorn Ames School of Art. Along with awards presented by the School of Art faculty, the IWU Career Center will purchase artwork from the exhibit to be on display in the Career Center office.
