Background: Described by the Boston Globe as “one of the major talents of our time,” Garnet Rogers is a folk singer and songwriter determined to do music his own way. Turning down offers from major labels, Rogers has earned a career as well as an ever-increasing enthusiastic audience even without the benefit of massive advertising. His songs, according to Kitchener Waterloo Record, “give expression to the unspoken vocabulary of the heart.”

Over the past 12 years, the Ancaster-based baritone has produced seven albums. He has been a feature performer on numerous television and radio programs and has headlined at concert venues and festivals such as Wolf Trap, the Lincoln Center, and Art Pack. Garnet is currently touring in support of his latest CD, Sparrow’s Wings.
