Event: Tommy’s New Music Series presents: Vocal performer/songwriters Chandler Kaiden and Adam Miller.

Date: Feb. 13, 2003 (Thursday)

Time: 8:00 p.m.

Location: Tommy’s, Hansen Student Center,
300 E. Beecher St., Bloomington

Admission: Free, open to the public

Background: Chandler Kaiden and Adam Miller, both first-year theatre majors from Roselle, Ill., are not serious singers or songwriters. “We’re basically a comedy routine with music, nothing serious at all. We’ve got a couple originals that are simply meant to be ridiculous,” said Kaiden. Performing covers of Barenaked Ladies, Van Morrison, and Disney movies, Miller plays the guitar while Kaiden sings. Vaughn Irving, a first-year music theatre major from Sante Fe, N.M., will play the drums and sing backup.

Sponsored by the Office of Student Activities, Tommy’s New Music Series presents Illinois Wesleyan students with the opportunity to perform and display their talents in a live music setting.
