Concert: Illinois Wesleyan Civic Orchestra

Location: The Center for the Performing Arts (Formerly Scottish Rite Temple/Consistory), 110 E. Mulberry, Bloomington

Admission: $10 for adults, $5 for students and senior citizens, and $1 for IWU and ISU students with a valid ID.

Background:

In the first appearance of the season, the Illinois Wesleyan Civic Orchestra will perform under the direction of Steven W. Eggleston, music director and conductor and professor of brass instruments. The program will include Rossini’s "William Tell Overture,"
Prokofiev’s "Lt. Kije," Mozart’s "Symphony 35," and Dvorak’s "Slavonic Dances Op. 46."
