Background: Chapter 6 will sing a medley of original a cappella arrangements ranging from jazz, gospel, pop, classical renaissance and rock.
The group originated as the premiere jazz a cappella ensemble at Millikin University in Decatur, Ill. before touring full time after the last of the current members graduated in 2001.
In 2000, Chapter 6 won the Chicago Harmony Sweepstakes making them the youngest group to ever qualify for the national finals. They were also crowned the 2001 International Collegiate A Cappella Grand Champions at New York Citys Lincoln Center before winning the 2002 Chicago Harmony Sweepstakes.
The group has released three CDs and keeps a busy touring schedule with recent performances in Milwaukee, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Philadelphia, Fort Lauderdale and the New England area.
