Background:

Sponsored by the University Chaplain's Office and the Evelyn Chapel Advisory Board, the Illinois Wesleyan chapel hour provides services from all different faith perspectives. The IWU Jewish Student Association cosponsors this event.

Rabbi Theodore Gordon is associate Chaplain at IWU and Rabbi Emeritus of Moses Montefiore Temple, Bloomington. He has served congregations as a rabbi and cantor in Baltimore, Md., and Winword, Pa. Gordon holds degrees from the University of Minnesota and the Hebrew Union College, and has served as Hillel director at Penn State, the University of California (Berkeley), the University of Wisconsin (Madison), and the University of Pennsylvania.
