Background:

Njeri Mbugua is assistant professor of sociology at IWU. She is a specialist in medical sociology, especially sexuality and health (HIV/AIDS) and in the areas of sex and gender and sociology of the family. Mbugua holds degrees from Indiana University (Ph.D.) and the University of Nairobi (B.A., M.A.).

Rebecca Roesner is assistant professor of chemistry at IWU. She is a specialist in inorganic chemistry. Roesner holds degrees from The University of Kansas (Ph.D.) and Ohio Wesleyan University (B.A.).

Daniel Terkla is associate professor of English at IWU. His teaching areas include medieval literature, art and culture, particularly the twelfth-century continental tradition; Chaucer and Dante; the Gothic Revival; travel narratives; and the beat generation writers. Terkla received his Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of Southern California.
