Background:

Tommy’s New Music Series presents Illinois Wesleyan students with the opportunity to perform and display their talents in a live music setting.

Kristin Gregory, a senior English major from Carbondale,Ill., began songwriting in 1999. Reared in the church, Gregory has a strong background in gospel music and draws on her spiritual growth and life experiences for inspiration. While greatly influenced by the message and music of gospel, she also incorporates genres such as jazz, soul, and rhythm and blues.
