Background: McNeill is associate professor of jazz at the University of Illinois at Urbana, Champaign (UIUC). In addition to his duties at UIUC he is the musical director and jazz tenor saxophonist for Grammy Award winning recording artist Arturo Sandoval and previously served in the same position with bandleader Maynard Ferguson.
McNeill enjoys an active performance schedule as a solo saxophonist, clinician, writer and pianist. He has performed with many of the worlds top jazz artists and entertainers including Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Dizzy Gillespie and Wynton Marsalis.
The Sean Parsons Trio consists of jazz pianist Sean Parsons, a 2001 Illinois Wesleyan graduate, Toby Curtright on bass and Andrew Lashock on drums.
