Background: Sons of the Never Wrong is a folk trio from Chicago made up of Bruce Roper, Deborah Lader and Sue Demel.
The band was formed in 1992 when Demel and former band member Nancy Walker heard Roper performing at a local club. Critics describe their work as decidedly eclectic with odd background influences, witty song crafting and three-part harmony that swirls in and out of space.
The band produces a unique style of song drawing on influences from rock, folk, jazz and bluegrass. Their onstage demeanor incorporates stylized dance steps, stories and oddball humor.
Four CD releases have brought Sons of the Never Wrong international reviews as well as extensive radio play. For more information about the band, visit their Web site at www.sons.com.
