A Message for Illinois Wesleyan Alumni

Presidential Search Committee

I write to update you on the progress toward the selection of the 18th President of Illinois Wesleyan University.

From a strong applicant pool, the Presidential Search Committee has selected three finalists for campus interviews. The candidates and their spouses will visit Illinois Wesleyan at the end of March, and representatives from the faculty, staff and students have been invited to interview the candidates during their visit.

Throughout our search, it has been the intent of the committee to keep our process a private matter for the campus community. To this end, the committee asks your cooperation by refraining from public discussion on the candidates or the process.

Following the candidates’ visits, the committee will meet to make a recommendation to the Board of Trustees sometime in early April.
