IWU Jazz
The Jazz Program enjoys a storied tenure at Illinois Wesleyan University. Founded in 1972 by Dr. Tom Streeter, IWU jazz ensembles have toured internationally, recorded numerous CD's and hosted acclaimed jazz artists from around the world. Now under the direction of trombonist and educator, Dr. Tim Pitchford, IWU's big bands and combos will continue to present dynamic concerts that feature the best of traditional and progressive jazz repertoire.
