When are meetings?
Every other Friday! The meetings start at 6:30pm and run for about two hours. It really all depends on how many episodes we (want to) watch.

What is a typical anime club meeting like?
We chill and watch anime.

Which anime are we going to watch? Let's watch ____!
The anime that the club watches is chosen at the beginning of the academic year by majority vote. What we vote from depends on what the club members themselves can legally provide for the club. We may watch random shows for special events like Halloween.

What is the Manga library?
We have a bunch of donated manga in some lockers in Hansen. Let us know if you want to borrow some.

ACEN
For information about ACEN, go here. This is not an official part of CIA's activities. Since we are an anime club, and since ACEN is an anime convention, we thought we should bring it up! If you need some help with preparations for ACEN (housing, cosplay, etc.) you can contact any of us and we'll do what we can to help you all out!

Anime News Network Has lots of info on shows. Occasionally streams anime.

Media Player Classic is bomb Download CCCP for watching any format.

VLC Player is OK... sometimes Another all in one player. Choice #2

MPlayer is good, apparently This is for you non Windows users. I have not used it.

I personally use My Anime List to keep track of and rate all my anime. I also use Media Player Classic Homecinema for watching anime. (VLC is alright, but the codecs are not as good and MPCH has a better user interface.) Remember, if you want America to keep importing anime, please go out and buy it. That is why we watch shows that people own. As for shows that have not been licensed, fansubs are really the only way to get them, because they will not sell or ship Japanese DVDs to people in America. Happy viewing!
