Advancement Systems Analyst

Reporting to the Director of Advancement Systems, the Advancement Systems Analyst manages and performs data requests within the Advancement Customer Relationship Management (CRM). This role supports database needs across all Advancement departments and University partners. This is a full time, benefits-eligible position; remote work within approved states will be considered with travel to campus one week a quarter, or as operationally needed. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee database management; in collaboration with the Director of Advancement Systems, acts as a primary administrator and decision maker in the database structure and functionality; leads implementation of new structures, policies or procedures; facilitates necessary changes to current structures, policies and procedures; responsible for data security, governance and oversight for Advancement.
  • Manage and perform data requests from the Office of Advancement and University partners; builds complex data requests for Advancement or external partners utilizing a strong understanding of SQL, relational data architecture; defines and develops office standards for query elements to create consistent reporting and data analysis; in collaboration with Director of Advancement Systems, executes projects related to the Advancement CRM (Slate for Advancement)

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; combination of education, experience and accomplishment may substitute
  • Minimum of three years related experience; running a CRM and using/writing SQL, CSS or JavaScript

$59-$63k, based on experience.
