LOCATION: The Shirk Center is located at the northeast corner
of Emerson St. and Franklin Ave. in Bloomington. Parking is available on
the east side of the facility and also on the south side of Emerson St.

Friday, February 28
Game #1 - 6 p.m. - Wheaton 72, Carthage 71 (OT) - BOX
SCORE
Wheaton (19-6 overall) led by 33-19 at the half but was
caught by Carthage at 50-50 and the game was tied at the end of regulation,
59-59. Sarah Harris scored seven of Wheaton's 13 overtime points and finished
with 23. The Lady Reds (16-10) were paced by Jenny Olson with 20.
Game #2 - 8 p.m. - Illinois Wesleyan 68, Augustana 59 - BOX
SCORE
Amanda Glerum came off the bench to score 16 points and
Brooke Bailey had 16 points and seven rebounds as IWU (18-8) advanced to
the championship game. The Titans scored 22 points off 23 Augustana (14-9)
turnovers. The Vikings got 13 points from Becky Ince.
Saturday, March 1
Game #3 - 2 p.m. - Illinois Wesleyan 54, Wheaton 53 - BOX
SCORE
The Illinois Wesleyan women's basketball team will
make its third appearance in an NCAA Division III tournament as a result
of winning the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin postseason
tournament, 54-53, over Wheaton on Saturday (March 1). Katie Cantrell made
a basket with :02 remaining to give IWU its fifth straight win and she
finished with 20 points for the game. Brooke Bailey and Jessie Freiburg
led IWU with eight rebounds each. The Titans (19-8), CCIW champions this
season for the first time in women's basketball, also made NCAA appearances
in 1995 and 1996.
